Business Administrator/Board Secretary

Sharon Ormsbee, MS, CPA, joined the Lacey Township School District in 2018. Sharon received her Masters of Science in Accounting from Kean University and thereafter received her Certified Public Accountant’s license. 

Ms. Ormsbee began her career in the private sector as an accountant for H. Hovnanian.  After seven years in the private sector, Ms. Ormsbee transitioned to public accounting as an auditor for the next six years.  Ms. Ormsbee then transitioned to school district administration as the Assistant Business Administrator/Assistant Board Secretary for the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District. 

All of these experiences, passion, and hard work have led Sharon to the position of Business Administrator/Board Secretary for the Lacey Township School District. 

In her personal time, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering her time with Jonah’s Ark Animal Rescue, painting, and traveling.
