Mallory Krakovsky
Supervisor of Special Education for grades Preschool through 6th grade
Mallory Krakovsky has worked for the Lacey Township School District since 2005. She started her career in education as a kindergarten teacher at Lanoka Harbor Elementary School. She changed grade levels in order to teach special education, which has always been her primary passion. She taught students in special education at varied levels at Lacey Township Middle School in the subject area of English Language Arts. While Mallory was teaching at LTMS, she continued to pursue her education at Monmouth University to obtain her Master’s Degree in Special Education while acquiring an additional certification as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant.
In 2011, Mallory continued to support special education by working on the Child Study Team as an LDT-C at Lacey Middle School. She worked as a Learning Consultant for eight years and helped to develop the Autism and Multiply Disabled programs. Mallory furthered her education at Penn State University to receive her post master’s certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Currently, Mallory is the Supervisor of Special Education for grades Preschool through 6th grade. During her three years as Supervisor, she has helped to grow the preschool program, implement the in-class resource model of instruction and support the paraprofessionals throughout the district. Mallory looks forward to beginning her fourth year in this role and seeks to make additional professional gains that will benefit special education in Lacey Township. She plans to continue developing the inclusive mindset within the Lacey School District.
Mallory resides in Brick Township with her husband, Stephen and son, Dominic, where she grew up herself. They enjoy their time at home with their dog and several chickens, as well as riding the Barnegat Bay on their family boat.
