Brown Pre-College
Provides students with an experience that prepares them to be an undergraduate at any college or university. To apply, students are asked to submit transcripts, an essay and, optionally, a recommendation.
The first step for a student to complete the application is to create an account! Once students have created an account, they will be able to view our essay topics so they can get a head start on drafting their essay. Boston University
At Boston University Summer Journalism Academy (BUSJ), students not only have an opportunity to have award-winning working journalists, they also have the chance to experience Boston University and the city of Boston.Our photojournalism program taught by a former Boston Globe photographer, Steve Haines, prepares students, like Taylor Coester(a BUSJ alum and now a BU student), to work alongside journalists in capturing the best photo for their stories. Parents and students enjoy hearing that no third-party vendors are involved, and they can experience an authentic pre-college experience at a college on their list. For students living on-campus, they have the opportunity to
* Meet with a Boston University's representative to discuss the college admissions process
* Explore what it's like living in a residence hall and studying in a university environment
* Experience Boston museums, historical sites, and neighborhoods during their free timeStudents decide if they would like to attend our program in-person or virtually. Our three-week on-campus session starts June 26. Our two-week virtual sessions begin June 19, July 3, and July 17. Villanova University ~ NROTC Summer Seminar
Join Villanova University this summer for the NROTC Summer Seminar, a unique opportunity for rising high school seniors to experience life at Villanova and get a closer look at our highly regarded NROTC program! This four-day program will provide young men and women with a better understanding of the balance between college life and NROTC commitment.

Cost: $625 (covers dorm, meals, and swag) Location: Villanova University

Villanova University ~ College of Engineering ~ July 8th-15th
The NovaEdge Diversity in Engineering Academy is back on campus this summer! This is a one-week, on-campus program that introduces a diverse population of students from different ethnic and social backgrounds to the traditional fields of engineering, including Chemical, Civil and Environmental, Computer and Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. Participants stay on campus during this one-week summer program.
This is open to rising sophomores, juniors and senior high school students. The program cost is $775, which includes room and board and can be paid in full once the student is selected for the program. Registration is not complete until required forms are received. If your student is selected, a deposit will be due to secure your student's spot in the program. Find more information and the application link on the NovaEdge Program Information site. Syracuse University
In summer college, high school students can choose from over 100 college-level courses offered on campus, online or in a hybrid format. As a Summer College student, they will build their resume or portfolio, enhance their college applications so they stand out in college admissions, test out a major, earn a Certificate of Completion and a Syracuse University credit or noncredit transcript. The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2023, and the final application deadline is May 1, 2023. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and courses fill quickly, so please apply soon!
William & Mary's Pre-College Online Program
Our online pre-college programs help students ages 13 and older explore their interests.
Through participating in our courses, students can discover if an interest could lead to a college major or even a future career. William & Mary invites students to get a taste of college studies this summer. Click here for our flyer
Boston University- Summer Journalism Academy
Applications for the on-campus session from June 26 to July 14 are due on April 14. Applications for learn-at-home sessions starting June 19, July 3, and July 17 are due on May 5. Students will save $400 off the full fee for the on-campus academy or $200 off the full fee of the learn-from-home academy if they apply, are accepted, and registered in full by March 3. Click Here
