We at Lacey Township Schools are excited to have partnered with the Regional Professional Development Academy. The mission of the Regional Professional Development Academy is to facilitate the inclusion of students with moderate to severe disabilities in the general education classroom.
Based on survey responses from member districts, feedback from educators attending workshops and feedback from the Steering Committee, we have selected the following strands:
Autism
Behavior Management
Interactive Technology in the Classroom
Literacy
Social SkillsEvery seminar is open to all school personnel. This includes general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, child study teams and administrators. Please submit the APPLICATION TO ATTEND A WORKSHOP form to your immediate supervisor for consideration and fill out the RPDA registration form which can be found by using the link below.
Parents are also welcome to attend all of the workshops and I hope you will join us in making a special effort to inform parents of the seminars so that they may register and participate. As a member district, almost all of the workshops are FREE OF CHARGE!
