Emma Davis represents New Jersey in Washington, DC

This summer Emma Davis participated at New Jersey Girls State and was elected to represent New Jersey at Girls Nation in Washington, DC. There are only two girls from each state chosen to participate as Senators. The week at Girls Nation is spent creating a mock legislature, submitting bills and resolutions, participating in senate sessions, holding a national convention, and electing officials such as President and Vice President. Emma's proposed bill on amending the process of IEP development in education was selected to be presented to our NJ representatives in Congress.
