    Congratulations: Senior, Dylan Danko for making the rank of Eagle Scout, Dylan will also be representing Lacey Township High School at Boys State in June.

    Congratulations: Junior Kylee Bragg for being chosen to compete in the 2019 Monmouth-Ocean Challenge Cup. She will represent Lacey Township High School and Ocean County well!

    Junior, Dan McClung received a perfect score of 800 on the math section of the SAT. What a great accomplishment!

    Senior, Hannah Starner, was WOBM's Student of the Week 4/8 - 4/12.

    Congratulations, to Junior, Andrew Rivera, who was named Player of the Week 4/15, by fan votes for the Shore Volleyball Coaches Association. Andrew made his presence felt at the net last week, he put up 21 blocks and 15 kills.

    Jackson Liberty High School Jazz Festival the LTHS Jazz Band came in 1st Place and won the award for best trumpet section.

    Congratulations to Sophomore, Zach Stroin, for Best Overall Soloist (Alto Saxophone), Sophomore, Gavin Brennan for Outstanding Musician Award (Trumpet), and Junior, Michael Glenn, for Outstanding Musician Award (Drums).

    Ocean County Salute to the Arts, the WLTStv21 Documentary Team of Jessica Schlagenhaft, Melissa Dering, Janny Tang and Ellie Reid won the award for Best Documentary from the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission! For Jessica Schlagenhaft, this is the second straight "Best Documentary" Award and her third straight award from the Commission. Please click HERE to see the video

    Teams from our STEM Academy participated in the NJ Seaperch Competition at Rowan University.  Team 1: 1st Place Overall - Moving onto the National Seaperch Competition @ University of Maryland.  Seas the Day -1st Place Presentation and Engineering Notebook and 3rd Place Pool Event. Jerry Ciana, Madison Smith, Taya Waligroski, Tosh Mrazek, and Kaileb Cole. Team 2: Moving onto the National Seaperch Competition @ University of Maryland. Glaucus - 1st Place Open Class Emily Philips, Amber Mason, Kim Martinez-Alvarez, Kendall Boyle, and Hunter Kerchner. Team 3: Aqua Greg - Participated in NJ Seaperch Competition Taylor Kling, Sydney Farmer, Kali Findlow, Matthew Dolan, Julia Fiorentino, and Liam Clancy.

    Congratulations to Senior Jay Holland, 1st Place in Earth & Space Sciences category at the Delaware Valley Science Fair.

    Laurene Evangelista placed third for grade 9-12 in the Asbury Park Press Student Voices contest for January.  

    Alex Lynch was selected for his performance of the poem "White Box" by Frances Leviston for Poetry Out Loud, a national poetry recitation contest sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts.

    Grace Wright took second place overall and Senior, Zane Mrazek took First place Central District DECA Testing, Third place Central District Role Play/Business Presentation and Third place Overall at the Kean DECA Central District Conference/Competition.

    Zane Mrazek took second place over all and  Sara Kuzan received second place role play at the DECA State Competition.

    The LTHS Jazz Band competed at the Kingsway High School Jazz Festival and earned a "Superior" rating from all 3 judges . Sophomore, Zach Stroin was awarded the best soloist award at Allentown High School Festival.

    LTHS students Cailtyn Nucifora, Mallory Pfaff, and Laura DiAngelis were chosen by the Ocean County Teen Arts Festival to participate in the NJ State Teen Arts Festival at Ocean County College on May 29, 30 & 31. Critiqued for Excellence - Miles Maffei & Gabrielle Cetrulo-Porter.

    Senior, Kara Bove received the Ocean County Caring Award for LTHS.

    Congratulations to Junior, Jessica Pisano, selected as a Girl's State delegate and Juniors, Amber LaManna & Carly Zellman, who were selected as Girl's State alternates. These young women completed for selection amoung four schools and came away with three of the nine total awards.
