2R Class Achievements for the 2018-2019 School Year:
~Green School Initiative:
Our class competed in the school contest to earn points for keeping a "Green" classroom. We tied for second place and won a popcorn party in June!
~MobyMax School Contest:
Our class competed in the MobyMax contest during March-April. Twenty-one classes from grades K-4 participated in the contest! We were the third top scoring class in the school and won a Great Spring Party! We achieve great things when we work as a team!
~Box Top Collection Contest:
Our class collected the most Box Tops in the school for the month of January. Thank you to the PTO for the Popcorn and Lollipop Prize! We will proudly display the trophy in our room!
~MobyMax School Contest:
Our class competed in the MobyMax contest during the month of November. We were the top scoring class in the school and won a Monstrously Marvelous Party!
~October Paw Print Ticket Contest for Grade 2:
During this school year, classes will be participating in a school-wide positive behavior intervention and support program called "Paw Practice". Students who demonstrate the skills discussed at the Paw Practice meeting will earn Paw Print Tickets.
The theme of the first Paw Practice was "Mindfulness". Our class earned the most Paw Print tickets for second grade. We earned a Popcorn Party! I am so proud of their mindful choices!
~Candy Collection for the Troops:
Grade 2 collected the most pounds of candy and won an extra recess! Thank you to all who participated!

We have an afternoon snack in our classroom. Please send a quick, healthy snack for your child each day.
Your child may keep a water bottle in school all day long.
Monday: Gym (Don't forget sneakers!) and World Language (Last two quarters)
Tuesday: Art (Please send in a smock.)
Wednesday: Gym (Don't forget sneakers!) and Tech Lab
Friday: Library and Health
