  • Good Morning,

We are working hard to continue to educate your children through the resources our district has provided.  Each elementary school put together subject area work/ expectations that will be the same across our district and grade level. By now, you should have been able to access these assignments through the district website.  As well as my home class page.  Any written work (journaling) should be submitted on Google Documents and submitted with the date and name of the assignment. These assignments are a review of skills as well as an introduction to future learning. I would like to state that any modifications can be made at your discretion and examples of how this can be done are based on your children’s ability.  Special education students have already been given personalized packets from their related teachers that should have been picked up.  In addition, anyone who did not have access to a printer should have also picked up the packet.

I am available daily from 8-12.  I will do my best to help answer any questions, clarifying assignments or concerns you may have.  I will also provide additional assignments:  such as Moby Max, and voluntary work for fun like videos, doodling by authors and virtual field trips for our children on Google Classroom.

I am available as you know by, text, the Remind 101 app, DoJo and will get back to you as soon as possible, even if it is outside the office hours. It is important to keep our students in a routine as much as possible.  We can work together to avoid and prevent any slide in their learning due to our countries current situation. At this level, we as parents, can plan their learning time and meet the specific needs or routines they may have.  Please make time for fun and games while you are together, this can relieve stress and laughter is the best medicine in stressful times.

We would like to keep things as consistent as possible without overwhelming everyone. I know there are many free sites out there but we would like to use district sites such as Mobymax which is what we use across the board in our elementary schools and it provides curriculum-based learning opportunities in all subjects. Please encourage time working on this site each day, in addition to the assignments provided. The teachers can also see student progress and assign things they may need to work on.  Games on Moby Max are fun but please encourage the actual lessons I assign for math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.  Stay healthy and safe.  Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.

Any questions/concerns or communication, please reach out via my remind 101, DoJo, or through my email at

I am posting assignments on Moby Max and you need to go on there as well to improve your math skills.  I will have groups set up and skills for you to practice.  Remember, I can see who is on and who is not.  I will be texting parents and emailing them if you are not on Moby Max.
