2025-2026 District/Board Goals


Student Achievement Goal: Objectives

Instructional use of the following assessment applications:

K-5: IXL - At least 65% of students K-12 will either meet or exceed grade-level expectations in IXL or grow 100 diagnostic points.

6-9: IXL - At least 55% of students grades 6-9 will either meet or exceed grade-level expectations in IXL or grow 100 diagnostic points.

Preschool: At least 65% of preschool students will increase one level on the Teaching Strategies Gold color band in the area of language, specifically in expressing thoughts and needs and using an expanding expressive vocabulary.


Attendance Goal: Objectives
Develop a long term plan to reduce the district rate of chronic absenteeism.


Ranking Goal: Objectives

Continue to identify current strengths and weaknesses based on the U.S. News & World Report ranking criteria (e.g., college readiness, graduation rate, student performance on standardized tests).

Provide additional support to improve the aggregated scores for students who are from low income households.

Encourage parental involvement in students' education particularly from low income households to support their academic aspirations.


Board Goals: Objectives

The Board of Education will foster strong relationships and build trust with our community. They will actively engage with stakeholders through participation in local events, creating an environment of open communication and shared purpose.

Budget Goal: Collaborate with administration and the entire Lacey Township School District community to develop and uphold a financially sound and balanced budget.

Continuing Education:  The Board of Education will participate in two(2) continuing education classes hosted by NJSBA.
