Ms. Lori Anzalone
Ms. Anzalone has been part of the Lacey Township School District for almost two decades. She is an honors graduate of Kean University and earned a degree in Elementary Education (K-5/5-8) and English. She is honored to be part of the outstanding team of educators at Mill Pond School who are dedicated to academic excellence.
Ms. Anzalone is the Co-Advisor of Mill Pond's Proud Paws Club. This club is now in its tenth year and is considered to be the pride and spirit of Mill Pond School. Ms. Anzalone also advises the district's Rough Writers Club, part of the district's after school enrichment academy, which is a program for grades 5 through 8. Through this club, where she has the fantastic opportunity to work with some amazing, young writers.
Ms. Anzalone is passionate about teaching and loves to share her desire for learning with her students. She expresses to her students that in order to succeed, they must be willing to ask questions if they are unsure of something, actively read books, magazines, or just about anything that they enjoy, and keep a daily journal of their experiences. One of her favorite quotes is, "Challenge yourself to be the BEST you can be and you will be amazed at what you will achieve!"
